The engineering students of the University of Wisconsin also revealed a similar in-shoe technology at the Science and Innovation Week. Their prototype was concerned on the thermodynamic power that is generated through footsteps. They also declared that they have already founded a company for them by the name of InStep NanoPower and they will make sure the availability of this technology in 2013.
Not only shoes but the scientists have already introduced the t-shirts having similar ability to charge cell phones last year in the Glastronbury festival in England. The shirts have the amazing capability of capturing sound vibrations and generating electricity by them.
